What are the Safest Cars to Drive on Los Angeles Roads?
California has over twenty six million motor vehicles on the road. The Cadillac CTS sedan also scored well. The BMW 5 series, excluding the 4-wheel drive and V8, did surprisingly well this year. The Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger did especially well with stability tests, and the Mercedes E Class, both the coupe and sedan were selected for the list. Volvo’s reputation of having safe large cars also continued, as its S80 model scored high in all categories.

Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic 4-door models (except Si) with optional ESC, Kia Forte sedan, Kia Soul, Mazda 3 built after December 2010: sedan | hatchback, Mini Cooper Countryman, Mitsubishi Lancer sedan (except 4-wheel drive), Nissan Cube, Scion tC, Scion xB, Subaru Impreza (except WRX): sedan | wagon, Toyota Corolla, Volkswagen Golf: 4-door models, and the Volkswagen GTI: 4-door models.
